TEENAGER ACNE TREATMENT

TEENAGER . ACNE . GRADE 3
Your Profile
The acne you struggle with is considered moderate to severe.
You experience inflammation presented as redness, swelling, papules (bumps) and pustules (pimples). Nodules (hard, deep and painful lesions) may also be present.
Since the lesions occur near to each other, they can spread and merge and look like crops. This may lead to skin damage, and even without squeezing, scarring can occur once healed. In severe acne, infection is deep within the skin.
This type of acne should ideally be evaluated by your dermatologist, as it can be both painful and leave behind scars.

Hydrated skin
Your skin also produces enough sebum (oil) to keep your skin hydrated.

Increased sebum (oil)

Breakouts

Inflammation
Your TA3 skin type has an increased sebum (oil) production, and dead skin cells are not shedding from within the pore. This combination, among other factors, leads to clogged pores and severe nodulocystic acne breakouts.
Acne bacteria accumulate inside the pores leading to inflammation.
The inflammation you struggle with makes your skin more susceptible to acne breakouts.
Your Frustrations
- Nodulocystic acne breakouts, clogged pores & inflamed skin.
- Oily & shiny skin with enlarged pores.
- Rough skin texture.
Your Goals
- No breakouts & inflammation.
- Regulated skin sebum (oil) levels and reduced appearance of large pores.
- Smooth and glowing skin texture.
TEEN ACNE GRADE 3: Treatment Objectives

PRESCRIPTION

Teen Acne Grade 3

PROCESS
- The first step in forming a blemish involves sebum, a naturally occurring oily substance that moisturizes, lubricates, and protects the skin and hair. While sebum production is normal, too much sebum can lead to clogged pores.
TARGETED TREATMENT
- Regulate excessive oil production and secretion.
Active ingredients: ZINC PCA, Niacinamide, Salicylic acid, Retinol
Products: Acne Repair serum, Retinol serum, Salicylic gel, Chemical Peel spray, Pore Cleanser
PROCESS
- The next step in the development of acne is triggered when follicles in the skin are not exfoliating properly. This means that keratin, a protein found within the skin, and sebum clog the follicle.
TARGETED TREATMENT
- An anti-keratinizing agent that inhibits skin cells (keratinocytes) from abnormally multiplying.
Active ingredients: Retinol
Products: Acne Repair serum, Retinol serum - Reduce skin cells' positive and negative charges, making them less "sticky."
Active ingredients: Retinol
Products: Acne Repair serum, Retinol serum - Decongests pores by dissolving and extracting dirt, oil, and cellular debris in the pores and follicles.
Active ingredients: Salicylic acid
Products: Acne Repair serum, Salicylic gel, Chemical Peel spray, Pore Cleanser - Disrupts cellular junctions to exfoliate dead skin cells.
Active ingredients: Salicylic acid
Products: Acne Repair serum, Salicylic gel, Chemical Peel spray, Pore Cleanser
PROCESS
- When the follicle becomes clogged, a species of bacteria called Cutibacterium acnes (formerly Propionibacterium acnes) accumulates and multiplies in the follicle.
TARGETED TREATMENT
- Inhibits the production of various aspects necessary for bacterial reproduction, such as fibrinogen, fibronectin, and alpha-hemolysis.
Active ingredients: Salicylic acid, Chemical Peel spray, Retinol
Products: Acne Repair serum, Retinol serum, Salicylic gel, Pore Cleanser - Provide long-lasting protection against bacteria through activation of anti-microbial peptides
Active ingredients: Niacinamide
Products: Acne Repair serum, Retinol serum - Limit the proliferation of acne-causing bacteria in the skin.
Active ingredients: Zinc PCA
Products: Acne Repair serum
PROCESS
- After bacterial infiltration the follicle becomes inflamed, thus leading to pimple formation.
TARGETED TREATMENT
- Suppresses pro-inflammatory cytokine expression. It is a potent anti-inflammatory agent able to control leukocytic functions.
Active ingredients: Salicylic acid, Retinol
Products: Acne Repair serum, Retinol serum, Salicylic gel, Pore Control Cleanser - Reduce the inflammatory response by inhibiting inflammatory messengers.
Active ingredients: Niacinamide, Zinc PCA
Products: Acne Repair serum, Retinol serum - Inhibit the arachidonic acid cascade.

Regulate sebum (oil) production and excretion.

SALICYLIC ACID; NIACINAMIDE; ZINC PCA; RETINOL
The excretion of lipids by the
sebaceous glands is controlled hormonally.
The sebaceous glands are located all
over the body but are the largest and most
numerous in the face, back, chest, and
shoulders.
These glands become more
active during puberty because of increased androgens, particularly
testosterone, which spurs sebum production.
This imbalance between sebum
production and secretion capacity
leads to a blockage of sebum in the hair
follicle, followed by inflammation.
Hormones continue to affect sebaceous
gland activity into adulthood.
Prevent dead skin cells and oil from building up in the pores.

SALICYLIC ACID; RETINOL
The first stage of
acne is also known as comedogenesis (formation of comedones).
The exfoliated dead skin cells stick together inside the hair follicle, resulting in a clogged pore or comedone.
This is caused by several factors, including increased amounts of sebum, inflammation of the sides of the hair follicle preventing the release
of the exfoliated keratinocytes, and increased cohesion of keratinocytes.
Salicylic acid decongests pores by dissolving and extracting dirt, oil, and cellular debris in the pores and follicles.BUY NOW
Prevent bacterial infiltration

SALICYLIC ACID; NIACINAMIDE; ZINC PCA; RETINOL
The keratinocyte plug and sebum is an excellent food source for bacteria. The bacteria invade the comedone and release inflammatory factors that lead to the next stage of acne.
All the main active ingredients in the Teen Acne Grade 3 treatment pack contribute to the prevention and treatment of bacterial infiltration.BUY NOWDown-regulate the inflammatory response.

SALICYLIC ACID; NIACINAMIDE; ZINC PCA; RETINOL
Inflammation continues
with increased redness and pus. This is clinically detectable as a papule or pustule.
Continued inflammation may lead to so much
inflammation that the hair follicle ruptures and the bacteria and debris are released into the dermis. When severe, this can lead to scarring.

GRADE 1
The mildest form of acne.
It consists mostly of comedones (congested pores / blackheads) and occasional pustules (pimples).
VIEW PROFILE
GRADE 2
Mild to moderate acne.
Greater number of comedones (congested pores / blackheads) accompanied by papules (bumps) and mild pustules (pimples). Occasionally, deeper inflamed lesions will also develop.
Thorough exfoliation is required to keep this level of acne in check. If left untreated there is a high chance that it will progress to grade 3.

GRADE 3
Moderate to severe acne.
The main difference is the amount of inflammation present. Sore, red, swollen lesions are present. Papules (bumps) and pustules (pimples) are developed in greater numbers and nodules (hard, deep and painful lesions) are present.
VIEW PROFILE
GRADE 4
The most severe form of acne.
Often referred to as nodulocystic or cystic acne. The skin will display a whole spectrum of blemishes such as comedones (blackheads), papules (bumps), pustules (pimples) and nodules with the addition of deep-seated cysts.
Acne of this severity usually extends beyond the face and may affect the entire back, chest, shoulders and upper arms.
Grade 4 acne should be treated by a dermatologist as it is notoriously difficult to control and almost always requires powerful prescription medicine to keep it at bay.
