AGING . DRY . ALLERGY
Your Profile
You have a complex skin type characterized by inflammation manifested as redness and rashes. The inflammation leads to an increased risk of skin aging, making it mandatory for this skin type to use anti-inflammatory and antioxidant ingredients.
Your skin feels rough, tight, and lacks radiance due to poor light reflection. Your inflamed skin makes you more prone to developing lines and wrinkles.
ADA skin types also have an impaired skin barrier which means that allergens, bacteria, and irritants can more easily enter the skin. Water evaporates off of the skin, leaving it dry. You struggle to find the correct skincare products that do not aggravate your symptoms.
Consistent everyday use of the correct products will allow your skin to repair itself, hold onto water and reduce its tendency for inflammation.

No Pigmentation

No Breakouts
The good news for Aging.Dry.Allergy (ADA) skin types is that you don't struggle with pigmentation problems such as uneven skin tone, dark spots, and melasma. Wearing sunscreen and avoiding tanning will help you to maintain your even skin tone and texture.
The inflammation you experience causes disruption of your skin barrier, but does not present as acne breakouts.

Inflammation

Microbiome disruption

Impaired, dehydrated skin barrier

Premature skin aging
Aging.Dry.Allergy (ADA) skin has an impaired skin barrier. Because of this, your skin has trouble holding onto moisture and preventing allergens and irritants from reaching the deeper layers of your skin.
Your skin's natural microbiome is altered and the balance between normal microbes is disrupted, giving harmful microbes the opportunity to invade the skin and trigger inflammation.
The skin barrier disruption and inflammation you struggle with make your skin more susceptible to premature skin aging.

And wipe your face clean with a clean facecloth or microfibre face sponge. - Apply Litaderm serum every morning.
