AGING . OILY . PIGMENTATION . ROSACEA
Your Profile
Your AOPR skin type is challenging and characterized by increased sebum (oil) production, pigmentation, and inflammation. The inflammation leads to hyperpigmentation and an increased risk of skin aging, making it mandatory for you to use anti-inflammatory and antioxidant ingredients.
AOPR skin types often have large pores and may feel shiny during the day. You experience facial flushing, redness, and visible blood vessels, and you may even struggle with breakouts and skin thickening.
You may also notice yellowish bumps on your face with central indentations. These are enlarged oil glands that may cause your nose to appear enlarged over time.
The good news is that all of your skin concerns can be remedied with medical-grade skincare products.
Consistent everyday use of the correct products will correct and prevent premature aging and reduce your skin's tendency for inflammation and pigmentation.

Hydrated skin

Premature skin aging
Aging.Oily.Pigmentation.Rosacea (AOPR) skin has facial flushing, facial redness, and visible blood vessels, and you may even struggle with breakouts and skin thickening.

- Keep Medi-Zinc cleanser in contact with your skin for 5-10 min.
Tip: Apply to dry skin (so that the cleanser does not run into your eyes - it will sting). Keep on your skin while you ex. Brush your teeth, bath, shower, or get dressed. Rinse off after 10 min. Wipe your face clean with a clean facecloth or microfibre face sponge. - Either apply Retinol serum every night and follow up (after 5 min.) with Litaderm serum, or alternate Retinol serum and Litaderm serum at night.
- Very sensitive skin may only tolerate Litaderm serum once per day - either morning or evening. Some AOPR skin types may even be too sensitive for daily application and will therefore need to apply Litaderm serum every other day until skin becomes more tolerant.
- Use DermRepair morning and/or evening as needed (if and when you feel your skin needs extra moisture or anti-inflammatory treatment).
- In case of severe breakouts: Add Salicylic gel to your regimen. Apply Salicylic gel on areas with breakouts and clogged pores 2 - 3 times per week. (Not shown in this treatment regimen)
