Glycolic acid
K E Y
An alpha-hydroxy acid that helps diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and helps support natural skin turnover for smoother-looking & softer skin. Glycolic acid softens the horny substance (keratin) that holds the top layer of skin cells together. This helps the dead skin cells fall off, helps the skin keep in more water, and leaves the skin feeling smoother and softer.
Glycerin
A natural component of healthy skin that treat & prevent dry, rough, scaly, itchy skin and minor skin irritations. Glycerine is a humectant that draws water into the outer layer of skin. Research has shown that glycerin mimics what’s known as skin’s natural moisturizing factor (NMF), which is why it’s compatible with all skin types, of all ages. Replenishing skin’s NMF is important because it becomes depleted as we age and when we use irritating ingredients like sulphates and fragrance.
