AGING . DRY
Your Profile
You enjoy an even skin tone but are more prone to develop dryness and wrinkles. Your impaired skin barrier leads to dehydration.
Fortunately, your skin is resistant to inflammation and pigmentation. You have only two barriers to skin health: dehydration and aging. Your skin type can easily be managed with the proper daily skincare regimen and lifestyle habits, such as wearing sunscreen and avoiding deliberate tanning.
Your lifestyle habits and age put you in a category that needs anti-aging ingredients—the age range for Aging.Dry (AD) skin types are usually 30 years or older.
If you are over 30, it is also time for you to add skin protective strategies, even if you avoid the sun, smoking, and other harmful habits.

Resistant skin

No Inflammation

No Pigmentation
Aging.Dry (AD) skin is resistant and non-pigmented, so redness, dark spots, and uneven skin tone are not concerns for this type.
Inflammatory skin conditions such as acne and rosacea are also not typically a concern for AD skin.

Aging skin

Dry & rough textured skin
Dehydration and skin aging are the two main concerns for your Dermal Diagnosis.
Aging.Dry (AD) skin types have an impaired skin barrier which means that water evaporates off of the skin’s surface in a process known as trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL). This can lead to dry, rough, uncomfortable skin.
Dry, dehydrated skin lacks the water that enzymes need to function well, and so various protective skin functions are adversely affected. Helping the skin to retain water is the first step to healthy skin for AD skin types.
The best defence for your skin type is a great offence, so take the necessary action now, so that you can avoid the danger of skin damage later.

- Do not use DermNourish and Glycolic gel on the same night. DermNourish will lower the efficacy of Glycolic gel by altering the pH of the formulation.
