We use imported fine fragrance oils and blend in the highest possible ratio to create LONG LASTING scents. We are fun, spontaneous, flexible and completely hands-on.

WTF (What’s That Fragrance) is Proudly South African and owned by Cath Thompson and Jenny Arthur.
We are passionate about fragrantly beautiful things and love layering homes (& bodies!) in our exquisite scents.
Every perfume has been hand blended in our Johannesburg studio to ensure you the finest eau de parfum blend in a 1:4 ratio, and our Candles, Diffusers, and Room Sprays are made with high-quality wax and oils.
What is the Vision of what's that fragrance?
To continue to grow our business to be a self-sustainable well-known South African brand and to continue to provide support for the wholesale agents who we are empowering.
Where did you find the inspiration?
Our inspiration comes from all the big-name perfumes and home fragrances out there that are out-priced for the average woman.
Perfume has the ability to lift a mood, create confidence and bring happiness to the wearer. Our inspiration is the happiness we see when someone has a “whiff”!
What makes your brand different?
We use imported fine fragrance oils and blend in the highest possible ratio to create LONG LASTING scents.
We are fun, spontaneous, flexible and completely hands-on.
What gives you confidence as the owner of a business?
As two female entrepreneurs, we love that the buck stops with us and that we can provide the best service possible, bringing quality products to our customers at affordable prices.
