AGING . DRY . PIGMENTATION
Your Profile
ADP skin is Dry and Pigmented with fine lines and wrinkles. You have three barriers to skin health: dehydration, pigmentation, and aging.
ADP-skin can fit a number of profiles, including:
- A person younger than 30 years old with dry skin who is often in the sun without sunscreen.
- A person over 30 years with photoaging.
- A person with dry skin and melasma, usually female.
In your teens, you didn’t have challenging oily, acne-prone skin, and your pigmented skin most likely tans nicely or is fair and freckled. Unfortunately, this also means you may often have skipped sunscreen and other beneficial skincare ingredients.
You may feel that your complexion is dull and lifeless, but fortunately, it’s never too late to turn it around and achieve a younger and healthier complexion.

Resistant skin

No Inflammation
ADP skin is resistant, meaning that inflammation, redness, stinging, and burning are not issues for your skin type.
Inflammatory skin conditions like acne and rosacea are also not typically a concern for this resistant skin type.

Pigmentation

Dry & rough textured skin
Dehydration, pigmentation, and premature skin aging are the main concerns of ADP skin.
Dehydration and dryness are caused by an impaired skin barrier, which can be repaired with a barrier repair moisturiser that mimic the natural lipid structure of the skin’s barrier.
Pigmentation concerns such as dark spots and uneven skin tone occur when melanocytes produce too much melanin, the pigment that gives your skin its colour.
ADP types who are over 30 years old, or have a history of not using sunscreen, experience signs of aging such as lines and wrinkles.

- Either apply Retinol serum every night and follow up (after 5 min.) with Litaderm serum, or alternate Retinol serum and Litaderm serum at night.
- Start using Glycolic gel only once per week. Slowly increase the frequency of use as your skin becomes tolerant.
- When your skin can tolerate more frequent application of Glycolic gel: Apply Glycolic gel instead of Retinol and Litaderm serum 2-3 times per week (as tolerated by your skin).
- Optional - You may follow up your Glycolic gel application with either Litaderm or Retinol serum after 15 min.
- Do not use DermNourish and Glycolic gel on the same night. DermNourish will lower the efficacy of Glycolic gel by altering the pH of the formulation.
- Monthly chemical peels will improve cellular rejuvenation, stimulate collagen production and speed up the pigmentation correction treatment process.
